We here have the luxury of saying that clinical pharmacy started here on our ninth floor at Moffitt Hospital across the street, and it hasn't stopped there. Innovation is what we are about, and when you have bright, young minds that come in with very different experiences from one another, it spurs innovation.
The school is driving change in the field today, just like it always has- asking questions, determining if there's a better way to do things. And that's exemplified in our science that we do every day, in creating new models of care, in creating a curriculum unlike any curriculum in any school or pharmacy in the world.
We will be the pioneers in pharmacy education in this curriculum, and ultimately, it's our patients and our students who are going to be the benefactors.
