UCSF alumni graduates are now heads of their departments managing large clinical trials in the executive suites at different hospitals or in upper levels, echelons of management in community pharmacy. And I think the one thing that really is soul satisfying is also to see how much the alumni really cares about mentoring the next generation. Professionally, right now, one of my main responsibilities is serving as a clinical pharmacist for the UCSF Women's HIV Program.
I am an alumni. And I'm currently a part of the UCSF Board of Governors for the pharmacy alumni. It's a great opportunity for me to give back to the students, to work with them, to mentor them, to see that they succeed.
I am the founder of Mission Wellness Health Care, which is a specialty pharmacy in San Francisco. Our focus is helping patients who don't have access to specialty medications. Along the way in my path to where I am now, there were many mentors that gave to me. And so, by volunteering, I'm able to pay it forward to the next generation.
